In order to meet our obligations under the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA) and Financial Services Ordinance (FinSO), please confirm that you belong to one of the three investors’ categories listed below:

Institutional Investor (FinSA art. 4(4)):

  • Swiss Financial intermediary (i.e. banks, portfolio managers, trustees, managers of collective assets, fund management companies, securities firms) or Swiss Insurance company;
  • Swiss or foreign collective investment scheme;
  • Foreign Financial intermediary or Insurance Company, subject to prudential supervision in your home country;
  • Central bank;
  • National or supranational public entity with professional treasury operations.

Professional Investor (FinSA art. 4(3)):

  • Public entity with professional treasury operations;
  • Occupational pension scheme with professional treasury operations or other occupational pension institution providing professional treasury operations;
  • Company with professional treasury operations;
  • Large company (ie. company which exceeds two of the following parameters: (i) balance sheet total of CHF 20 million; (ii) turnover of CHF 40 million; (iii) equity of CHF 2 million);
  • Private investment structure with professional treasury operations created for high-net-worth retail clients.

AND you do not opt to be treated as a retail investor.

Other Professional Investor

  • High-net-worth individual, ie. retail client who (a) on the basis of training, education, professional experience or comparable experience in the financial sector, possesses the necessary knowledge to understand the risks associated with the investments AND has at his/her disposal assets of at least CHF 500,000 OR (b) has at his/her disposal assets of at least CHF 2 million
  • Private investment structure (Family Office) without professional treasury operations
